Casey von Cologne is a wonderful 10 month old cream and black German Shepherd. She was taken to the shelter by her owner with the silliest 'excuse': he said she was pregnant and he no longer wanted her. Turns out she wasn't pregnant at all. Casey is safe with us now and is doing well in her foster home. She's wonderful with the cats; they can run around in front of her, she couldn't care less. She's gentle and shy, but doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is easily encouraged and responds to the happiness in your voice with a 'skip in her step'. She's visually happy when she's praised. Casey is just a sweetheart and will make a wonderful companion for someone. Her foster mom tells us she hasn't had any accidents in the house so far, so she might very well be potty trained. She knows her sit command by voice and hand signals now. I am beautiful, soft and have a very gentle disposition to match. I'm looking for a family that will be kind and patient with me as I am shy but coming out of that shell more and more every day. I just love it when you speak gently and give me tender hugs and kisses. I'm kind to the kitties but to be honest I'd rather just avoid them entirely cause they have these sharp things at the end of they paws that hurt, plus I'm so tender hearted I get my feelings hurt when they call me names. I haven't had any accidents in my foster home. I sleep at the foot of my foster parents bed on the floor on my very own soft cushy bed and am very quiet all night. In the morning I greet them with gentle kisses and a happy dance cause I just love to say "good morning" to them. Then my foster brother & I go outside to take care of business then I want to come back cause I get more lovin! I also know how to sit with voice command and hand signals. My foster mom says she will really miss me when I go to my new home but she trusts that the right family is out there waiting for me. Is that you?
